1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you search a location, we store the search query, coordinates, and result summary you choose to save. We do not collect precise device GPS history — location is only used when you explicitly request a nearby search.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide the Service: displaying your searches, saving your preferences, and generating competition summaries. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Data Storage
Your account and saved searches are stored securely on our platform infrastructure. Saved searches are linked to your account and are visible only to you.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service uses OpenStreetMap (geocoding and business data) and CARTO (map tiles) to render results. These providers may process your search queries to return results. Their privacy practices are governed by their respective policies.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your saved searches remain until you delete them. When you close your account from the Profile screen, your saved searches and account record are removed.
6. Cookies & Authentication
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember session preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through the app, or by closing your account. For data requests, contact the support channel in your app settings.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect the effective date above when we do.
